Palmer Municipal Golf Course is an 18-hole public championship golf course. The links-inspired layout opened in 1990. The course was designed by Iliad Corporation. Kentucky bluegrass fairways and bentgrass greens provide excellent playing surfaces. Championship tees measure approximately 7,125 yards. The course plays to a par 72.

The championship rating is approximately 74.5 with a 132 slope. Numerous bunkers protect fairways and well-contoured greens. Several holes feature wetlands and natural water hazards. Signature holes showcase dramatic mountain and glacier backdrops. Wide fairways reward accurate tee shots while demanding precise approaches.
