Le Triomphe Golf Course

Le Triomphe features a private 18-hole championship course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. The course opened in 1986 and quickly earned recognition among prominent modern American layouts. Championship tees measure approximately 7,061 yards and play to par 72. The longest tees carry a demanding slope around 143, depending on the current rating set. Bermuda-based turf is used throughout much of the warm-season playing surfaces. Course conditioning is highly regarded, with maintained fairways, large greens, bunkers, and extensive water features.

Numerous strategically positioned bunkers protect fairways and greens, although an official current bunker count is unavailable. Water influences many holes and creates repeated risk-reward decisions throughout the course. Hole seven, Needle’s Eye, challenges golfers with water protecting the green on a strategic par five. Hole twelve, Bleeder, provides another memorable risk-reward par five with water guarding the left side. Hole eighteen, Triumph, is a demanding finishing par four framed by bunkers and trees. Jones’s routing combines five par fives, strategic water hazards, large greens, and demanding approach shots.
