Coldstream Country Club Golf Course

Coldstream features a private 18-hole championship course originally designed by noted architect Dick Wilson. Keith Foster completed a major restoration emphasizing Wilson’s original strategic features and bunker character. The championship layout stretches approximately 7,279 yards and plays to par 71. Recent published championship ratings approach 74.8 with slopes around 139, depending upon tees selected. Bentgrass greens complement carefully maintained fairways and demanding putting surfaces. Mature trees, rolling terrain, creeks, deep bunkers, and strategic hazards create challenging playing conditions.

The course contains numerous bunkers, although Coldstream does not publicly provide an authoritative current bunker count. Four creeks influence several holes, creating water challenges throughout portions of the routing. Long par fours and strategically defended greens are prominent characteristics of Wilson’s design. Several holes along the rolling property provide memorable approaches and demanding championship-caliber tests. Coldstream has hosted Ohio amateur championships, Ohio open events, and numerous USGA qualifying competitions. The course also annually hosts the University of Cincinnati men’s golf Bearcat Invitational.
