The surrounding community offers a quieter New England atmosphere while retaining the services expected from New Hampshire’s capital city. Concord Country Club Golf Course

Concord Country Club features a private 18-hole parkland course combining Ralph Barton’s original nine with Geoffrey Cornish’s later expansion. Cornish designed the additional nine completed in 1973, creating the 18-hole routing played by members today. Current black tees measure approximately 6,467 yards, playing to par 70 with a 73.3 rating and 138 slope. Bentgrass varieties are used on important playing surfaces, supporting the club’s reputation for exceptionally maintained greens and strong conditions. The rolling layout features elevated greens, mature trees, substantial elevation changes, narrow approaches, and demanding putting surfaces. Approximately 62 mapped bunkers and one principal mapped water feature provide additional strategic challenges across the property.

The downhill 208-yard par-three fourth is considered among Concord’s toughest and most memorable holes. Three bunkers defend its narrow green, while severe contours make accurate approaches and precise putting especially important. The par-three ninth is another standout, featuring an elevated green surrounded by five bunkers and a deceptive false front. Concord hosts club championships, member-guests, Member-Member events, league competitions, interclub matches, and numerous charity outings. The club hosted the NH Golf Classic professional events in 1983 and 1984, attracting several prominent professional golfers. New Hampshire Golf also schedules statewide competitions at Concord, continuing the course’s longstanding role in regional tournament golf.
