Old Palm Golf Club – Membership Cost and Fees
Old Palm Golf Club is an exclusive private club with membership generally associated with its Palm Beach Gardens residential community. Recent sources report a Golf membership initiation fee around $350,000, although current pricing should be confirmed directly. Annual Golf dues are reported at approximately $38,500 to $39,000, before capital dues and additional charges. Some recent property listings indicate higher membership contributions, demonstrating that fees can change with club policies. Members may also encounter capital dues, assessments, dining expenses, caddie charges, and other usage-based costs. Old Palm limits membership, helping preserve a low-density private golf experience for residents and qualifying outside members.
Golf privileges are included with qualifying membership rather than purchased through conventional public green fees. Consequently, Old Palm does not publish standard daily green fees comparable with public or resort courses. The club emphasizes a professional caddie program, with related charges depending upon services used. Cart and trail fees are not consistently published, so members should request the current schedule directly. Guest golf costs may also apply when members sponsor eligible visitors under current club policies. Overall annual spending can substantially exceed basic dues after capital charges, dining, caddies, guests, and other club expenses.

Its approximately 43,000-square-foot clubhouse provides dining rooms, gathering spaces, locker facilities, and terraces overlooking the course. Social events and member dining create additional opportunities beyond Old Palm’s primary golf experience.
Old Palm occupies a gated residential community of approximately 294 residences in Palm Beach Gardens. Custom estates, grand estates, and golf villas surround landscaped streets, lakes, preserves, and portions of the golf course. The community offers convenient access to upscale shopping and restaurants throughout Palm Beach Gardens. Nearby destinations include beaches, boating facilities, cultural attractions, and numerous additional golf courses. Palm Beach International Airport is accessible for seasonal residents traveling between South Florida and other destinations. Old Palm combines a secluded residential atmosphere with convenient access to northern Palm Beach County amenities.
Old Palm Golf Club Golf Course
Old Palm features a private 18-hole parkland-style championship course designed by Raymond Floyd and opened in 2004. The championship layout measures approximately 7,401 yards from the back tees and plays to par 72. Current rating sources list a championship course rating around 76.2 with a slope reaching approximately 151. Bermuda-family turf is characteristic of South Florida courses, although published sources conflict regarding Old Palm’s specific current grasses. Raymond Floyd created broad fairways, strategic bunkering, demanding greens, and multiple playing angles for different abilities. Excellent conditioning remains a defining feature, supported by intensive maintenance standards expected at an elite private club.
Approximately 100 bunkers create much of the course’s strategic challenge, although exact current counts can vary following renovations. Lakes and water hazards influence numerous holes, but Old Palm does not publicly specify an official water-hole count. The closing par-four eighteenth provides a memorable finish near the clubhouse and surrounding water features. Floyd’s design emphasizes thoughtful shot placement rather than requiring maximum distance on every hole. Old Palm has hosted competitive events, qualifiers, exhibitions, and professional gatherings involving prominent touring golfers. Its Golf Studio and championship course also attract professional golfers seeking extensive practice opportunities and carefully maintained playing conditions.
