Quail Hollow Club Golf Course

Quail Hollow features a private 18-hole parkland championship course originally designed by George Cobb and opened in 1961. Arnold Palmer modified several holes, while Tom Fazio later completed extensive renovations that shaped today’s championship layout. Bermuda varieties are used extensively, including Champion G-12 Bermuda greens and Bermuda fairways. The USGA lists the longest rated member configuration at 7,546 yards with a 76.6 rating and 145 slope. That configuration plays to par 72, while professional tournament setups can exceed 7,600 yards and play par 71. Water creates particular danger on the 16th and 17th holes, while a creek threatens shots throughout the 18th.
