Westmoor Country Club Golf Course

Westmoor features a private 18-hole parkland course originally opened in 1926 and subsequently redesigned by several architects. William Langford renovated important holes in 1957, while Todd Quitno directed the extensive 2008 renovation. Bentgrass greens and fairways complement mature trees, strategic bunkering, rolling features, and carefully maintained playing surfaces. The championship Black tees measure approximately 7,010 yards and play to par 71. Current published Black-tee figures include approximately a 74.6 course rating and 135 slope. The five-tee system provides suitable distances and challenges for golfers across numerous ability levels.

The par-five ninth is among Westmoor’s signature challenges, combining substantial length with demanding strategic decisions. Langford’s fourth through eighth holes remain particularly important architectural features within the modern course. Numerous bunkers protect landing areas and greens, although an authoritative current bunker total is not publicly listed. Water influences selected holes, but the club does not publish an official total for water-affected holes. Westmoor has hosted Wisconsin State Open and Wisconsin State Amateur championships during its distinguished competitive history. Andy North and Steve Stricker both won Wisconsin State Opens at Westmoor without breaking par.
