Edgewood Country Club Golf Course
Edgewood features a private 18-hole parkland course originally designed by Earnest Way and later renovated by Arthur Hills. Hills completed significant improvements in 1989, rebuilding greens, reshaping putting surfaces, adding bunkers, and resurfacing cart paths. Current championship tees measure approximately 6,827 yards and play to par 71. Published championship figures list a 73.4 course rating and challenging 136 slope. Mature trees, elevation changes, strategic bunkering, creeks, and water hazards create traditional parkland challenges. Exact bunker and water-hole totals are not officially published by Edgewood.
The course is known for manicured conditions, mature landscaping, challenging greens, and scenic West Virginia surroundings.
